We will meet at the Highdown Tearoom. We have visited this site before, in summer, but I thought we would try it as Spring approaches.
Those who wish to can pop into the garden, next door, to photograph snowdrops and other Spring flowers.

The Tearoom lies between the Highdown pub and Highdown Gardens. There is plenty of parking space, at the Tearoom, behind the Highdown pub and in the carpark just past Highdown Gardens; all parking is free.
The venue is dog friendly, has both indoor and outdoor seating and for those who wish to go round the gardens entrance is free of charge.
If the weather is good then we will sit outside. If it is bad, then we can be inside the Tea Room or if that is full we can go into the pub, as it is the same company. It is worth having a look inside the pub anyway; lots of pictures on the walls and some nice beer!
For the more energetic, you can easily access the S Downs, where the views are superb; you can see from 'Seven Sisters' in the East to the 'Isle of Wight' in the West. Highdown Gardens are also next door for the flower photographers amongst you.
