We are proposing to walk the Windmill Trail from Boxgrove to Halnaker and back on Sunday 22nd January and then go to Chichester Camera Club Advanced Workers' exhibition at North Mundham and you are welcome to join us.
The walk (leaflet attached) takes in the famous Halnaker Tree Tunnel (model with Red jacket sought for judge pleasing photos!), the windmill with great downs views and the Boxgrove Priory. It Is about 8km (5miles) and is described as 'Easy/Medium'. It normally takes around 1.5–2 hours but I'm assuming 3 hours to allow for time to admire the view, take photos and natter. Meet at 10am at the Boxgrove Village Hall Carpark, The Street, Boxgrove PO18 OEE.
After the walk we will drive the 5 miles to North Mundham Village Hall for the Chichester Camera Club exhibition.
There are several lunch options: you could bring a picnic, get food to go and nice coffees from the Boxgrove Village Stores or the camera club are advertising light lunches at the exhibition.

If you don't fancy the full walk you might find a space in the small car park at the lay-by beside the A285 near Warehead Farm close to the Tree tunnel and windmill. If you want to do this let me know and we'll try and meet you on the way round, my guess is that we'll be passing this point at about 10.45 (assuming we get away on time and don't pause too often). After doing this part of the walk you could drive to Boxgrove parking in the village hall carpark (or there is a small priory car park) to see the Priory and then head over to the exhibition. Let me know if you plan to do this easier option.
